What is Transformational Art?
Art That Speaks to Us
Transformational art is designed to engage the viewer on a personal level. It can uniquely touch our hearts, evoking deeper reactions and offering new ways to experience ourselves and the world. This can awaken new feelings, thoughts, and inspirations.
Creating a Space with Purpose
Our surroundings can influence our sense of well-being. Transformational art can help us craft spaces with meaning and purpose that uplift and inspire.
How to Work with Transformational Art
Rather than only choosing art to fit your decor, observe which pieces attract you on an emotional or intuitive level. Place your art where it can benefit you most, such as in a frequently used workspace or a spot in your home where you unwind at the end of the day. You might spend reflective time with the art, allowing your mind to use the piece as a contemplative journey. Over time, new insights and inspiration may arise.
"There is a universal force that can support our transformation in a powerful way, like nothing else can. When we nurture our connection with this force - Source, Life, Spirit, God, however you may call it - our life begins to bloom in new and beautiful ways. There is more ease and joy. Happy serendipities and beautiful surprises come to bless our lives. My hope is that this art may deepen your connection to the Source of Life and create beautiful growth within and without."
About The Artist and The Art
My name is Keely Bays-Egri, and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I create works in a genre called Transformational Art—art meant to touch the viewer on a deep level and catalyze new thoughts, feelings, and perspectives. I create vibrant, luminous abstracts designed to uplift the spirit, promote positivity, and support personal and spiritual healing and growth. People often describe my work as “stunning,” saying it speaks to the heart and that they can feel it. My use of colour and value gradients gives the art a unique luminosity and an energizing, glowing presence. The rhythms and brushstrokes I use reflect the energies I work with during my creative process. Many people use it to support their mental and emotional well-being, personal healing work, and energy-based healing practices. This is art that can be used to uplift a space, and the people within it, whether it's at home, at work, or in a public space.
I have always been acutely aware of the suffering within the human experience and have spent 20 years seeking ways to understand, heal, and transform it into something meaningful. My journey has taken me through a variety of meditation and healing traditions, and personal and spiritual development modalities. I’m deeply fascinated by the many forms of mental, emotional, and spiritual experience, as well as the contemplative and mystical traditions found across world religions and philosophies. I’ve been fortunate to learn from many teachers and healers and am now grateful to offer that same support to others through meditation coaching and transformational art.
Energy-based healing has profoundly shaped how I see the world and how I create art. Through studying, receiving, and offering energy healing, I’ve become aware of the subtle energetic reality underlying our physical, mental, and emotional health. Though not directly perceived by the five senses, this energetic dimension is foundational to overall well-being. When we release lower vibrational patterns and integrate higher ones, meaningful shifts occur—in our bodies, minds, relationships, and even in the unfolding of our daily lives.
I create my art by focusing on my state of consciousness, energy, intention, and emotional orientation. My inner state is as important as the external creative process. My preparation phase—before any paint touches the surface—is essential, as it’s where I receive inspiration and enter my “flow”. I view my art not only as a source of aesthetic beauty but also as a tool to support the viewer mentally, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually.
