Sunward 1,2, and 3 (Sunward Set)

This artwork consists of three paintings, Sunward 1, Sunward 2, and Sunward 3. They can be hung in any placement as a set or closely in the order shown as a triptych. However, the first and third paintings (Sunward 1 and 3) are available as a set of two and the second panel (Sunward 2) is available as a single.

Each panel portrays an upward view of tall grass set against the sky and illuminated by a bright light source. The upper section of the painting features radiating light while the bottom part features strokes of greens and yellows, giving a sense of life and energy. The blending of colors and dynamic brushstrokes convey a feeling of natural illumination and growth.  The piece may evoke a sense of striving, inspiration, groundedness, peace and gratitude. It was created to nurture the personal and spiritual journey and to offer the eco-psychological benefits of nature imagery. 

Original art using acrylics on hardboard. Protected with non-removable, archival, UV-resistant gloss varnish.
